AVA (AvePoint’s Virtual Assistant) is a chatbot integrated with Microsoft Teams. AVA can automatically respond to chats when you are searching for lost content, perform searches from deleted content and backup data (when you use AvePoint Cloud Backup for Microsoft 365 to protect OneDrive, Exchange Online, Teams, and Microsoft 365 Groups), and help restore the content that you are searching for. For OneDrive and Exchange Online, users can only search and restore their own data; for Teams and Microsoft 365 Groups, users can search and restore data from the Teams and Groups they have joined.
If your Microsoft 365 data centers are far from North Europe (Ireland), East US (Virginia), and Australia Southeast (Victoria), AVA’s response may be delayed.

AVA Environments: Commercial and U.S. Government
The AVA app supports the following environments:

Commercial Production Environment – Get the app from Microsoft Teams app store. The app in this environment can only connect to the commercial production environment of AvePoint Online Services.

U.S. Government Production Environment – Upload the app package to your tenant apps catalog. The app in this environment can only connect to the U.S. government production environment of AvePoint Online Services.
